First Wrestling Tournament of the 2010 year

Well there is no more hope of sleeping in on Saturday's for the next couple of months. However, as tired as I might be I enjoy every moment I get to see my children shine. We started our morning out at 5:00a.m. yesterday so Tyler could get to the bus at 5:45 for a J.V. Tournament at West Valley. John left shortly after that so he could spend the day with Ty. I on the other hand left our house with Layne and Lacey to head to Willows for their tournament. It seemed I had high hopes this tournament would finish fairly early since the count of wrestlers was very low. So much for that, we didn't finish until 7p.m.. Lacey had a tough day, she gave it her all but was just out powered. I really admire her inner strength, she never gets upset and determined to beat her opponent next time. Keep up the hard work Lacey we are proud of you. Layne had told me early in the day he didn't sleep good the night before. He seems to get very nervous before a tournament, and we try to encourage him win or lose as long as you tried your hardest you are a winner to us. He did very well over coming his nerves in the Finals and beat a kid from Reno for 1st place. the score was 15-0 in the second round giving Layne the win with a Tech. Good job son, we knew you could do it. Posting a few pictures of Lacey, and hopefully I can figure out how to post some video I took.

My New Years resolution: To learn how to create a Blog, so all my friends and family can keep up with our busy life. Things are looking good so far, I was able to pick a background and figure out how to add all my personal info. Wish me luck and hope you and your families have a great New Year.
